The students have worked hard and have showed a great level of commitment to the Flipped Classroom lessons. They have learnt about the English poet Rudyard Kipling, vocabulary related to feelings and emotions, stanzas and rhyming. During the first part, they studied the poem on their own using the website EDpuzzle. Once they understood the poem, we started the group activities where they worked in groups of five. Each student was given a role: Encourager, Timekeeper, Orderkeeper, Secretary and Artist. With their groups, the students showed their creativity and ability to elaborate an original poem, decorate it with art and present it in front of the class. Everyone had a fun and wonderful time learning about poetry!
